Job Description

The Studio Manager is responsible for the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional
member experience as well as a financially successful club in a non-judgmental environment. The
Club Manager will be accountable for leading a team of employees in a positive, motivating manner
with continuous assistance in employee training and development. The General Manager commands
a performance management culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering outcomes.


Primary Activities:
● Grow the business to profitability and energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly
objectives
● Ensure member resolutions are done timely and with a kind spirit.
● Ensure member retention is a key focus of the staff. Do Whatever It Takes and find a way to
deliver the “Wow Experience”.
● Monitor and scoreboard performance of the staff to meet or exceed expected KPI standards
● Ability to recruit, hire and onboard amazing talent
● Coach and develop team members to drive sales performance
● Member focused in delivering exceptional customer service
● Maintain a crisp, clean facility with equipment operating 100 % of the time
● Monitor employee payroll and scheduling ensuring the club is adequately staffed at all time
● Has a command of all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization
● Ensure and monitor compliance and accuracy with all policies, procedures, and standards
● Monitor inventory in the club and ensure timely restocking
● Conduct staff meetings and set staff goals

Physical Demands:
This is a physical role requiring the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may
require standing or bending for prolonged work hours.


Required Education and Experience:
● 2 years of fitness facility or service-oriented management
● Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field is a bonus, but not necessary
● Responsible for supervising a minimum of 15 employees plus Group Fitness team
engagement
● Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays.
● CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire
