Summary: Functionally test electronic circuit board assemblies, to ensure proper operation.
Troubleshoot down to component level and perform all test related rework.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Test and troubleshoot electronic circuit boards as assigned. Complete the required documentation to support the test and delivery of finished product. Perform all test related rework.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Education: High School Diploma, or GED. Must have an associate degree and/or a minimum of4 years as a technician in lieu of schooling.
• Experience: Must have experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Circuit Cards, with a minimum of 2 year as a test technician.
• Ability to use various types of electronic test equipment, I.E., Multimeters, Power
Supplies, Frequency Counters, and Oscilloscopes.
• Must be able to identify both surface mount and through-hole components, including component values/color-coding.
• Must be able to test and troubleshoot to the component level circuit cards that fail test. For defective assemblies, parts and/or components; must be able to identify, characterize, and document defects to ensure reproducibility of documented defects.
• Must be able read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, BOM's, Part Lists, Test Procedures and Work Instructions.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
Working Condition:
• Requires working under different working environments. Must be able to withstand environmental changes in temperatures and lift 30 — 50 pounds
• Capable of withstanding long hours of standing
