Outstanding high tech manufacturing company seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their team.
Our organization is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who can inspect our components and products to confirm they meet specification. This individual will document the results of the inspection including generating non-conforming reports when necessary. We are looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with a high degree of attention to detail.
The Inspector will perform incoming inspection on custom components such as sheet metal, machined, plastic molded and die cut parts as well as PCBs, PCAs and LCDs. Inspection will also include work-in-progress and final inspection of ruggedized workstations, displays, and imaging systems. Most inspection is visual; however, some basic dimensional verification is required. The ability to use a variety of calibrated tools such as calipers and pin gages is required. Occasional printed circuit board (PCB) and printed circuit board assembly (PCA) inspection is needed.
Records are maintained primarily in a paperless system; however, some legacy products and processes are maintained manually. The Quality Control Inspector will need to maintain records in both types of environments. Examples of these records include records of conforming and nonconforming materials, repair reports, certificates of conformance, and associated inspection procedures.
