HR Generalist / Recruiter

This is an entry-level sales-based recruiter position. The candidate will be working closely with the leadership to execute full-cycle recruiting for our Financial Services client and be involved in community engagement. The ideal candidate is someone great at networking and building relationships in the community in order to identify and select the best talent to join our team of Financial Advisors.

This position involves performing functions that allow the recruiting team to efficiently attract, recruit, select and contract financial representatives and interns. The Recruiter will have an overall understanding of the recruitment and selection process. This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.

Recruitment and Selection Support

  • Source resumes for FT and Internship opportunities from recruiting job boards and creates feed lists via social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Spend at least 1 ½ hours per day on the phones to call and schedule both active and passive candidates for interviews
  • Send appropriate communication to candidates for each step of the selection process
  • Assist in candidate onboarding including contracting and licensing
  • Maintain candidate database via home office-supported software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year of FT work experience in an office setting
  • Sales and marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
  • Outgoing, friendly, and great at building and maintaining relationships
  • Action oriented, enjoys working hard and full of energy and not afraid to take on new challenges
  • Takes initiative and has a hunter mentality

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year + incentives
