The LMSW provides emotional counseling and support to alleviate stress, enhance functional coping abilities, minimize potential problems/barriers related to the medical diagnosis or treatment and maximize opportunities for communication, problem-solving, adjustment to illness (acute or chronic) and complex discharge needs. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with the health care team members and other customers common to the unit/area(s) of assignment. We have opportunities in Boise, Meridian and Nampa, Idaho!
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Licensed Masters Social Worker in state of practice.
