St. Luke's Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Therapist at our Children's Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine in Nampa, Idaho!This is a new clinic that will be opening in March 2020 that will have a full mental health team including a Psychologist and Psychiatrist that will be co-located with a Pediatric Primary Care office.Theposition will work with children, adolescents, and their family providing individual, family, and group therapy. The caseload is children ages 3-18 with a variety of mental health diagnosis.
The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for identifying individual and family psychosocial, emotional and cultural needs and priorities for care through assessment, care planning, clinical interventions, education and evaluation of outcomes. The Mental Health Therapist provides counseling and support to alleviate stress, enhance functional coping abilities, minimize potential problems/barriers related to treatment and maximize opportunities for communication and problem-solving. Through documentation and oral communication, the Mental Health Therapist shares essential information with healthcare team members when appropriate. We have three openings in this location.
- Masters' Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy or related field.
- Must hold a License in the State of Practice in one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Must hold American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
- Bilingual preferred
