JOB SUMMARY :
The Technician Coordinator assists the pharmacist in all phases of the department operation including unit dose, profiling, packaging, record-keeping, home health, stocking, billing and clerical duties.
In addition to normal pharmacy technician duties, the lead pharmacy technician will be responsible for assisting pharmacy management with staff scheduling, coordinating training and other duties assigned by pharmacy administration necessary for consistent pharmacy operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years at St. Jude Medical Center as pharmacy technician.
Current, valid pharmacy technician certificate from the state of California.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Five years' experience within an acute care hospital
