Lead Custodian/Facilities Manager

We are seeking a Lead Custodian/Facilities Manager to become a part of our team!  You will help us to keep our building clean, safe and looking great!  We are a church and school serving preschool thru 8th grade.  Hours can be flexible but will be mainly during regular school/business hours.  Open to part-time as well for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning touch-ups and light building maintenance during the day
• Inspect and provide feedback to night cleaning crew to ensure a safe and clean building
• Oversee and coordinate care of the property and grounds
• Work with teachers and other staff to address cleaning and maintenance issues as they come up
• Work with our Property and Grounds committee to plan, prioritize and execute improvement projects
• Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed/addressed in a timely fashion
• Supervise and train supporting cleaning staff

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management, custodial or other related fields (or willingness to learn!)
• Some mechanical knowledge is a plus
• Ability to build rapport with teachers, students and staff
• Professional attitude and behavior (church and school setting)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
