Recreation Internship - 30A & Panama City Beach

To qualify for this internship, you must be a current college student enrolled in a Hospitality (or similar) program.As a Recreation intern, you will spend much of your time at your assigned location. Your internship will be primarily focused on your area of beach services, fitness/ recreation or marina operations. With this internship, you will have the opportunity to attend staff management meetings, assist in leading daily standups, and be exposed to management-level responsibilities. Much of your exposure will greatly depend on your initiative, work attitude and overall service delivery. Recreation Internship positions for the fall semester of 2022 are available at many of our locations. These locations include:

• Bay Point Marina
• WaterSound Beach Club
• WaterColor Beach Club
• Camp Creek

**All recreation positions will be outside and you must be able to withstand working in the extreme outdoor conditions.** In Recreation, you must be able to stand and/walk for an entire shift (between 8-12 hours), must be able to bend and stoop to pick up items from the floor or in cabinets, and be able to actively engage in games with the children (if applicable) including the ability to swim or be in the water. Must be able to carry items weighing up to 25 lbs and sometimes up to 50 lbs. If you are in the Beach Chairs or Attendants, you will need to be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs.
