Salary:

Sprezzatura Management Consulting is currently looking for an experienced Digital Content Specialist IV to join our growing team supporting Federal clients. The successful candidate will support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Office of Information Technology (OIT) with the creation, execution, management, and refinement of OIT digital content and engagement strategies and products. These communication products and processes support OIT’s goals to achieve trust, increase confidence, and expand engagement with enterprise-wide employees and customers, as well as internally with OIT staff.

 

Responsibilities:

The Digital Content Specialist IV will be responsible for developing, creating, and measuring the effectiveness of digital content for OIT stakeholders. 

 

  • Creates, edits, and curates communication products, materials, and digital content in coordination with OIT stakeholders and teammates, including but not limited to videos, animations, infographics, images, photos, presentations, website content, and social media posts.
  • Editing communication products, materials, and digital content created by other team members.
  • Providing professional guidance and recommendations to inform and improve management and operations of the OIT communication project.
  • Deliver quality content by deadlines set in the editorial calendar.
  • Ensure content meets established OIT style, format, brand, governance, and accessibility standards. 
  • Ensure video, audio, photo, and other visual assets are optimized for web and social media.
  • Maintain and take steps to optimize OIT’s communications platforms and knowledge management processes. 
  • Develop collaborative relationships with OIT stakeholders to obtain the information necessary to create accurate content that aligns with audience needs and business objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report content usage metrics to stakeholders.
  • Apply best practices in user-centric design and provide actionable insights to decision-makers to increase OIT stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in the procurement process for products and services related to digital content.
  • Support other outreach and communication projects, including meetings, events, webinars, trainings, and presentations.

 

Qualifications:

The Digital Content Specialist IV is comfortable working in a lean environment with a growing and evolving team. The ideal candidate solves problems, actively coordinates all phases of the content lifecycle, and works closely with a variety of public and private sector team members working to transform government IT.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required.
  •  6+ years of professional experience in social media, digital, communications or marketing with related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing public affairs, communications, or marketing activities on behalf of a large organization (preferably in government).
  • Ability to create graphic design, photography, basic videography, basic audio production, basic publication design, and layout and editing.
  • Experience managing professional social media accounts, websites, intranet, and/or internal knowledge management platforms.
  • Experience in using qualitative and quantitative digital content analytics tools and methods to draw conclusions, report findings, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to apply project management techniques and methods for digital content development and management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at multiple levels with public and private sector partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently condense information and convey it clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with staff at all levels and in a team environment.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytics skills and strong attention to detail.

 

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in the government IT or consulting space.
  • Demonstrated experience expanding the reach of external and/or internal communication platforms, campaigns, or products.
  • Experience in mentoring the professional development of junior team members.
  • Experience in organizational change management.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar customer relationship management applications.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar products for content development.
  • Experience in lean, agile, and human-centered design techniques to create and deliver inclusive technical and non-technical communication products.
