- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in sports marketing, promotions, sales or business administration preferred
- At least 18 months of sports industry sales sector and/or publishing B2B experience
o Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
o Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
o Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions under the guidance of the Commercial Director and Senior Account Executive.
o Identify and coordinate events including conferences, networking meetings, luncheons including set up, activation, on site social media and follow up metrics.
o Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
o Lead digital and printed publication advertising sales in support to the Head of advertising in London.
o Identifies product improvements or new products by identifying clients recommendations, remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
o Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and events.
o Maintains a high quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
o Maintains professional knowledge by attending conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
o Manage weekly SBGA social media in coordination with UK office
