Director of Technology

Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Director of Technology will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and refinement of practices to ensure the predictable and timely delivery of high quality software and systems. Director of Technology will be responsible for managing applicable software/system development lifecycles (SDLC), software/system lifecycle management (SLCM), for coordinating activities with the program/project management office (PMO) and technical operations teams, and for related compliance activities.

Estimated Salary Range for this role is: $170,000 - $185,000, not including any potential annual bonus

Requirements

Operational Requirements:

• 6+ years experience and equivalent expertise in leadership and management
• 6+ years experience and equivalent expertise in SDLC and SLCM management
• 6+ years working closely with and/or on a PMO
• 6+ years experience developing and document policies, processes, procedures, etc.
• Experience managing remote and/or offshore development and technical teams
• Experience recruiting, training, integrating, and retaining talent

Technical Requirements:

• 6+ years experience and equivalent expertise in technical leadership and management
• 8+ years experience and equivalent expertise in software architecture/engineering
• 4+ years experience and equivalent expertise in technical operations
• Experience with both Linux- and Windows-based technology stacks
• Experience with data analytics and reporting
• Experience in security and/or compliance centric environments

Other Requirements:

• Solutions and results orientation
• Comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Experience with electronic payment systems is a plus
• Experience in on-call rotations is a plus
