Highlights:
As the Manager of National Events and Sponsorships, you accelerate revenue and brand awareness by planning and executing internal and external programs and events. You excel at managing high-end client entertainment assets, sporting venues and celebrity-driven events from concept through implementation. You maximize company resources and sales performance through the coordination of strategic kick-off meetings, incentive trips, client advisory board meetings and town halls. You focus on allocating and coordinating resources to ensure events begin on time and within budget. You serve as a leader and role model across the Sales function. You thrive leading events and sponsorship programs in an office environment and travel frequently to achieve company objectives. You report to the Director of National Events and Tradeshows for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
  • Be an effective events leader by planning and executing internal and external events and meetings including venue selection, agendas, transportation, food, accommodations and post-event reporting.
  • Maximize event impact by collaborating with creative agency partners on event collateral production including signage, branded promotional inventory and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate all event logistics with vendors to include theme ideation, site inspections and agency management to reduce event risks.
  • Ensure a smooth and coordinated event by creating and distributing event communications to team and client audiences.
  • Collaborate with Director and Senior Manager through regular communications on event status, objectives and agenda items from pre-event through program execution.
  • Deliver post-event reporting by working with external agency partners on event website development, attendee registration tracking and budget management.
  • Evaluate program impact for continuous improvement through the creation and distribution of post-event surveys.
  • Complete additional special projects and assist in the coordination of executive logistics as needed.
Required keys for success:
  • Five or more years of progressive experience developing and executing internal events within a business-to-business (B2B) environment
  • Five or more years of relevant event management experience
  • Experience as a corporate meeting planner
  • Highly organized and efficient team player with exceptional project management and prioritization skills
  • Diplomatic with excellent judgment
  • Service-oriented and comfortable managing senior-level executives through written and verbal communications
  • Collaborative and team-based with the necessary leadership skills to communicate a passion for winning
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to logistically manage events involving large groups of attendees delivering them on time and within budget
  • History of maintaining company and client data confidential at all times
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization
Your education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (required)
