This position offers:Ind.Nurse
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- 12 hour shifts (6:45am to 7:15pm, 6:45pm to 7:15am)
- Schedule flexibility to work with your availability
- Evening and weekend pay differential
- Long-term opportunity
- Relocation assistance available
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License
- 6 months to 1 year related experience and / or training
- BLS and ACLS life support certifications
- BSN degree preferred
Position Duties:
- Provides prompt compassionate service that exceeds patient expectations following UTMC nursing professionalpractice model.
- Patient and family advocate while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries.
- Treats others with honesty, courtesy, and respect.
- Communicates with courtesy, clarity, and respect and keeps patients and families informed with regular updates.
- Resolves interpersonal and interdepartmental issues/conflicts in a timely manner using effective resolutiontechniques.
- Answers phone calls, patient call system with a pleasant tone and professional manner.
- Answers and responds to calls in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates an awareness of visitation restrictions and special precautions required to enter a patient's room.
- Responds to patient inquiries appropriately, maintaining confidentiality and safety.
