Responsible for developing and managing the day-to-day operations of the e-Services department. Promote and model consultative sales, profitability, market shares, and member and employee satisfaction by directing, training, and coordinating personnel development. Directs, supervises, and coordinates the work of the e- Services Consultants with a focus on loan production, branch deposit, and membership growth.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
40% - Staff Management. Direct, develop, motivate, and coach e-services personnel; provide feedback; write and administer performance evaluations. Hold periodic meetings to discuss goals, changes in procedures, new developments, or services, and to present general information. Cross-train personnel in all products and services offered at the Credit union and systems utilized by the e-services staff. Assist in resolving member and employee escalations. Keeps the VP of Retail aware of member service and staff activities. Prepares and submits monthly reports.
30% - Oversee the organization’s internal and external E-Commerce services to ensure growth through increased shares, including online applications, Remote Deposit Capture, and the loan queues. Underwrite loan applications; approve, deny, or make counter offers up to the assigned level of authority. Guide the staff by answering questions, solving problems, and assisting with complex work-related matters. Coordinate departmental coverage; keep manager informed of department’s activities.
30% - Member Service. Participate in special projects, new product development, and refining existing products. Work with senior leaders to evaluate policies and procedures for the department and maintain consistency of operations. Build strategies and evaluate efficiencies to help support members. Recognize and identify process limitations and communicate recommendations for improvement. Assist other departments and perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills
Two to five years of leadership in banking or related field, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Associate degree from a two-year college, technical school, or equivalent education/experience. Bilingual, fluent Spanish and English language skills are a plus!
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In- depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Demonstrated leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills and sales and productivity skills. Knowledge of member services/loan policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to provide courteous, professional service and establish member relations. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to express ideas and procedures clearly and concisely. Knowledge and proficient use of computer applications to include Spectra CU’s accounting and core data processing systems, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
This position is on a Hybrid Telecommuting status and will be required to report to the office a few days per week. Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine offce equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.

Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
