Are you an experienced real estate paralegal interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity in downtown San Francisco, CA? In a general sense, you will be assisting with transactional work, surveys, zoning, organizational and corporate documentation, closing, post-closing, due diligence, and more! You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing all manner of legal documents, including title exception documents, SNDAs, estoppel certificates, zoning reports, good standing certificates, consents, resolutions, loan and loan assumptions documents, closing binders, signature page documents, closing checklists, and more. You will also be responsible for requesting and finalizing proforma title insurance policies, survey revisions, zoning corrections, missing client transactional/loan info, loan documents for recording, and closing documents; ordering good standing certificates and judgement/lien searches; working with title companies and clients to prepare settlement statements; obtaining EIN for newly formed entities; filing organizational documents with secretaries of state and UCC1 financing statements, assignments, amendments, and terminations; working with search companies to find agents for service of process and independent directors; assembling exhibits for transactional closings; coordinating signing parties for closings; obtaining LEI for rate caps and swaps; and other tasks as assigned. This role involves heavy client contact, so we are looking for someone who is polished and professional with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, pleasant demeanor as well as a keen ability to multitask without letting things fall through the cracks.
