Position Summary:
Performs system administration activities to support and maintain the corporate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, including configuring, testing, and implementing PLM technologies.

Position Responsibilities:

    1. Performs PLM system maintenance, upgrades, testing, validation, and end-user support
    2. Maintains and monitors integrations between Teamcenter and other external systems, and troubleshoots all integration issues
    3. Troubleshoots technical issuesin Teamcenter, such as configuration testing and new development issues
    4. Performs back end Teamcenter application support and works closely with IT to address application performance, security, and stability issues
    5. Works closely with management, business users, and IT group to implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
    6. Performs application configuration to support PLM Systems Engineer, PLM Application Analyst, and business users
    7. Develops, conducts, and/or assists with end-user training
    8. Identifies and assesses new PLM application technologies to provide upgrade opportunities
    9. Travels to customer locations, as required
    10. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years of experience supporting and administering applications in a server environment
  • Teamcenter UA, SQL Server, and VMware
  • Supporting applications in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years of experience supporting and administering applications in a server environment
Experience to include the following:
  1. Installing and administering Client/Server, Database, and Web Server applications in a Microsoft OS and virtual environment
  2. Programming/Scripting to support application administration and scheduling tasks
  3. Experience with the following is preferred:
    1. Teamcenter UA, SQL Server, and VMware
    2. Supporting applications in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment
    3. Programming in Teamcenter through ITK or SOA
    4. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
    5. Analytical and problem solving skills
    6. Organizational and planning skills
    7. Computer skills — proficiency using standard business software (including MS Office)
    8. Written and verbal communications skills
    9. Interpersonal skills — ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and to maintain composure in pressure situations
