he Southwestern Family of Companies is searching for an experienced Marketing Operations Coordinator.

This position will support the business operations and manage the traditional and digital marketing strategy of Southwestern Empowerment.

Our Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for initiating, creating, developing, and executing an omni-channel marketing strategy as well as assisting with the daily business operations designed to ignite Southwestern Empowerment in consistently hitting revenue and profitability objectives. We’re looking for a marketing savvy team member, with a passion for implementation, who has a high resilience to a fast-paced environment, and can perform in different roles and complete various tasks depending on the needs of Southwestern Empowerment during times of growth. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate success at attracting, engaging, and converting new website traffic into customers, converting existing customers into repeat clients, and genuinely engaging with our growing fan base.

Key areas of action and responsibility include:

  • Maintaining a world-class digital online presence with websites, social media, and customer experience in order to maximize overall revenue per visitor.

  • Devising organic and paid strategies to drive online traffic to SouthwesternEmpowerment.com and KatyKvalvik.com.

  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns and promotional calendars surrounding Empowerment personalities, offerings, events, etc.

  • Overseeing the social media strategy for Southwestern Empowerment and its founder, Katy Kvalvik.

  • Utilizing a range of techniques including, but not limited to, email marketing, SEO, paid search, and affiliate marketing.

  • Managing relationships with agencies and digital marketing technology vendors.

  • Developing, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures for newsletters, opt-in forms, and online promotions.

  • Creating and managing systems within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Infusionsoft. Training new employees and contractors on how to use the system.

  • Working with Project Manager to coordinate and execute workshop and event logistics.

  • Contributing to pre and post-event correspondence with workshop and event attendees including, but not limited to, promotional and logistics emails, customer service, referral follow up, etc.

  • Conducting post-project and event reviews and developing lessons-learned documentation.

  • Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks for Southwestern Empowerment including, but not limited to, managing and completing expense reports, composing and preparing email and phone correspondence, arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B/B2C digital marketing and advertising

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or other related field

  • Proven track record of driving revenue from lead channel

  • Keen attention to detail, proofreading, and organization of details.

  • Excellent written communications skills; specifically with promotional copy

  • Ability to use advanced communication skills toward being an active diplomat and problem solver

  • Creative, analytical, and objective thinker

  • Experience managing teams, vendors and/or freelance resources

  • Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices

  • Current and demonstrable experience with email marketing, SEO, Google platform

  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Ability to independently learn digital marketing strategies.

  • Understanding of business, sales, and marketing principles as they relate to a fast-growing company culture.

  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Keynote, Google Drive and Applications

  • Experience with WordPress and Infusionsoft is preferred

  • Graphic design experience a plus
