JOB SUMMARY: Part time Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 12 noon to midnight
Provide custody, general care, and supervision of clients while in the Home. This position is responsible for coordinating the daily operation of the Home, make necessary purchases, relay information to workers concerning client, and assist in the development and implementation of the individual case plan.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Maintain basic discipline and control of children;
B. Coordinate the purchase of food and supplies necessary for the daily needs of
C. Assign and supervise clients in daily light-housekeeping tasks, such as making beds, sweeping, etc.;
D. Supervise activities within the Home; provide means for recreation and religious opportunities;
E. Assist in the intake process of clients;
F. Monitor clients behavior and provide intervention measures when necessary;
G. Administration of first-aid as required and dispensing of medication;
H. Coordinate school work and school performance;
I. Keep written records of client behavior, visits, passes, medical needs, and Medicaid documentation;
J. Prepare meals according to the guidelines set forth by the Food Nutrition Program; this includes duties and responsibilities involved in complying with Health regulations as well as the Commodity program;
K. Perform other work duties as required;
L. Report regularly to supervisor on all activities and behavior/discipline;
M. Vehicular transportation of children to various appointments and school functions;
N. Remain alert and vigilant (no sleeping) during the entire duration of work.
