Job Description

Leading manufacturing company, with offices in Weston, FL, is looking to add a Finance Manager to their team. This position will have strong visibility within the organization and will be on track to take over the CFO role in the near future. This is a hybrid remote and in-office role.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize existing and develop relevant new KPIs to assess company’s financial situation
  • Monitors, controls, and reports actuals versus budget and establishes budgetary controls, and data processing functions using established policies and procedures
  • Obtains, analyzes, and consolidates accounting information; prepare reports, statements, and makes financial recommendations
  • Ensure effective accounting, financial forecasting, analysis, financial systems, cash flow, and compliance
  • Responsible for building budgets, quarterly estimates, forecasts, variance analysis and financial modeling
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP and ensure financial statements are on an audit-ready status year-round
  • Assist in establishing short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in line with overall organizational strategic planning
  • Facilitates implementation of new systems and major modifications of existing systems to reduce downtime
  • Take an active contributing role in support of supply chain’s inventory management activities including a cycle count process; provide regular in-depth analysis of inventory trends by product, obsolescence, and excess inventory; assist in the identification of inventory that can be dispositioned within company budget guidelines toward optimization of inventory balances leading to an increase in inventory turns
  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting documents for presentation to internal management and the bank.

Requirements:

  • Active CPA license
  • 5-10 years of finance and accounting experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry background highly preferred
