Job Description

We are hiring for 2 roles - a Network Analyst and a Systems Analyst. Both are full-time, onsite positions, and both job descriptions are below. MSP experience is required.

 

The Network Analyst is a Tier 3 resource for customers seeking technical support, project management and business guidance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, outgoing self-starter who can think on their feet, multi-task and most importantly make clients feel like they are the best investment they have ever made.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead in supporting, designing and implementing network solutions and managing network upgrades, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, VOIP and firewall
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting and problem solving to complex network problems
  • Provide network support for various projects, such as new installations, hardware and software upgrades, and application upgrades
  • Analyze and resolve security related issues and respond to user requests in a timely manner
  • Write scripts to facilitate automation and ensure accuracy of routine tasks
  • Work with leadership to assess specific needs and determine how to best implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for supported environments and system specifications
  • Conduct site visits for project scoping and the investigation of network problems
  • Support development of technical proposals and provide feedback on the effort for the scope of work
  • Provide 24x7 On-Call Support to customers and datacenter on a rotational basis
  • Serve as escalation point for junior engineers and provide mentoring/training
  • Review support requirements and makes modifications to networks based on customer requests
  • Communicate effectively with regards to deadlines and expectations as a project lead

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Senior Network Analyst professional experience, including troubleshooting network issues, and managing and configuring network hardware
  • MSP experience is required
  • ConnectWise and Kaseya experience preferred
  • CCNP, CCIE, or other higher-level Cisco network certification is required
  • Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is highly desired
  • Proficient knowledge of MS on-premise servers/M365/Azure AD
  • Core strength with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewall (FWSM, ASA), IPSec-VPN, Radius, WAN, DNS, DHCP, HSM, LDAP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, Load balancing and Cisco IOS Aruba, Meraki, FortiGate
  • Working knowledge of MS operating systems, critical update procedures, and vulnerability remediation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (IP routing / Network experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

 

 

The Senior Systems Engineer is a Tier 3 resource for customers seeking technical support, project management and business guidance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, outgoing self-starter who can think on their feet, multi-task and most importantly make clients feel like they are the best investment they have ever made.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead in the support, design, planning, and implementation of technologies to include:
  • Hands on implementations, migrations and upgrades of IT Infrastructure
  • Physical and virtual server builds
  • Exchange and Office 365 migrations
  • AD & Group Policy implementations and cleanup
  • Business application installations, upgrades and migrations
  • Standard network infrastructure installations and upgrades (routers, firewalls, switches, WAPs)
  • Security hardening (anti-virus, email filtering, dual factor authentication, secure remote access)
  • Compliance audits
  • Cloud solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for supported environments and system specifications
  • Conduct site visits for project scoping and the investigation of engineering problems
  • Support development of technical proposals and provide feedback on the effort for the scope of work
  • Provide 24x7 On-Call Support to customers and company datacenter on a rotational basis
  • Serves as escalation point for Tier 1-2 technical issues while training junior engineers
  • Analyzes support requirements and makes modifications to systems based on customer requests
  • Effective communication skills with regards to meeting deadlines and expectations (Project Management skills are a plus)

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Senior Systems Engineering professional experience, including troubleshooting system issues, and managing and configuring server hardware
  • MSP experience is required
  • IT Certifications (CCNA, MCSE, Azure, O365) highly desired
  • Strong knowledge implementing supporting Exchange On-Premise Servers / M365/Azure AD
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Critical Update procedures, and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience with Network Monitoring Systems and Device/Network Management Systems; Cisco routers, switches, Access Points, firewalls, security
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
