Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager (SET)

SOURCE is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our North America Team and support our growing business. This role will be based in Scottsdale, Arizona and will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

In this role, you will cover the following activities:

1. Provide research and analysis conducted on key segments, customers, programs, and applications for SOURCE Water in the North America region.

2. Develop outreach strategies across segment and market focuses.

3. Present and propose SOURCE solutions to customers, including but not limited to financial and non-financial customers through SET role (inbound lead management).

4. Establish working rapport up the client organization chart amongst your SOURCE colleagues with similar roles and help drive best practice throughout the SET team.

5. Take a lead role in shepherding opportunities through the pipeline for the N America region including managing constraints, working cross functionally to solve issues and laddering in the organization as needed.

6. Work to accelerate the sales cycle by supporting regional BD teams and monitoring progress of leads and pipeline.

7. Support N America sales team with transactional due diligence, financial modelling, presentations and other tasks to facilitate lead and opportunity development.

8. Manage inbound leads, feedback to marketing on performance marketing efforts driving leads and work to quickly vet leads against ideal company criteria.

9. Support regional sales team with analytics, monitoring of progress against goals and best practice.

10. Coordinate SOURCE Operational, Marketing and BD teams to support various projects.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years' customer facing business development-related experience
  • Degree in business or marketing is preferred
  • Passion to make an impact and ensure positive customer experience with an innovative product
  • Adept at relationship building at all levels throughout organizations
  • Highly responsible self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of job completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organization and time-management skills
  • Embrace challenges, learning new things, moving at a fast pace


As a Business Development Coordinator at SOURCE, you’ll spend much of your week responding to inbound leads to help them gain an understand of SOURCE product offerings, liaising with Business Development to facilitate opportunity creation and accelerate the sales cycle, creating tailored value propositions and performing valuable market research and data trend analysis to help set best practice across the organization. You will be working with our North America Business Development Team and Brand Team to help solve the world’s most challenging water problems - providing resilient, clean drinking water to rural and remote communities as well as working with organizations ranging from non-profits, NGOs, local and county governments, hospitality brands, universities, remote work/mining companies and farming organizations. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with many different roles within the greater SOURCE team including field, operations, marketing and business development.

The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Some weekends may be required when the business opportunities require it.
