Sorrento Therapeutics (“Sorrento”) is seeking a motivated Research Assistant/Associate to join the drug delivery/imaging lab. The successful candidate will play a role in in vivo studies testing therapeutic compounds in animal models and ex vivo immune cell analyses and/or PK/PD biomarker analyses.





  • Conduct pre-clinical PK, PD, and efficacy studies
  • Hands-on experience in cell culture of primary cell and mammalian cell line
  • Execute in vitro/ex vivo assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and etc
  • Acquire/analyze/summarize data and report data and troubleshoot for problems in experiments.
  • Accurate documentation and data recording.
  • All other duties as assigned.





  • MS degree or BA/BS degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or animal study.
  • Experienced with aseptic cell culture.
  • In vivo hands-on experience, including dosing, blood and tissue collection, and rodent tumor model.
  • Experience with in vitro and ex vivo analysis, including but not limited to tissue culture, flow cytometry, and ELISA.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with group members.
