General Job Description:
Part time Minimum 20 hours per week. Flexible hours. 4 days x 5 hours/day.
Ideal position for a highly organized individual who can work along with an office manager in a multi-faceted office of a charitable, fraternal non-profit organization.
Location in Excelsior District of San Francisco with free employee parking.
Not a benefited position.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in an office that assists 48 individual lodges
Assist with all correspondence: written, email and regular mail
Process and ship supply orders for lodges
Process Mortuary and Death Claims
Assist with processing of membership lists
Assist with processing Monthly & Quarterly Reports
Assist with coordination of Annual Convention
Liason with Il Leone (Grand Lodge Newspaper)
Liason with Western Foundation-Our 501c3 Charitable Organization
Order office supplies
Greet and assist visitors
Maintain a neat and organized office
Minor Duties and Responsibilities:
Liason with Hall Rental Manager
Qualifications for the Job:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
4 year college degree preferred
Computer skills: Email, spreadsheets, membership lists.
Strong customer service ethic
Knowledge of Quickbooks, General Accounting helpful
Functioning knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to walk up one short flight of stairs. Office is on second floor with no elevator.
