Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (“CSR”) provides customers with courteous customer service in person or over the phone; strives to retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to serve customers’ needs. The CSR corresponds with customers regarding pricing, scheduling shipments, and all other details related and order processing. Primary functions are to process orders, monitor phone queues and email box and to address and resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides account information to customers including but not limited to account balances, histories, and stop payments.
• Performs maintenance, placement/ and changes for all account types.
• Provides timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries and escalates as needed.
• Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and providing them information as needed about the Company products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.
• Maintains knowledge of changes to products/industry
• Has direct communication with Sales Team regarding orders
• Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.
• Manages the customer order from start to finish, from time of entry through delivery.
• Assists Sales Teams with phone support to ensure phones are answered. Assist customers as required.
• Process Custom Orders once approved by Customer.
• Verifies to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' requests.
• Process and track pre-shipment paperwork, order changes
• Coordinate any delivery date changes with sales team and customers
• Assist customer with any problems on order after delivery.
• Assist customer with RMA/Returns request as necessary.
• Work with Accounting Team on processing invoices
• Document workflow and work procedures; makes recommendations on process improvement were appropriate and audits as necessary.
• Demonstrate Enthusiasm - be a positive and encouraging presence in the office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 2+ years in a CSR role or customer-facing experience
• 1-2 years in Logistics/Shipping & Receiving experience
• 1-2 years of experience with an ERP System
• Proficient on Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills’ able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
• Ability to perform diversified clerical functions
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
• Acute attention to detail
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.
• Lift up to 25 pounds

Candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug screen before beginning work.
