Data Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the CFO, the Data Analyst will be responsible for building and managing the systems that support big data, data science and other analytical platforms at Solve. This position will participate in the design and implementation of systems architecture for systems that analyze and process data in the way that best serves business objectives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and have strong multi-project, multi-task, and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage master data, including creation, evaluation of changes and updates, deletion and quality assurance of imported data
• Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and generate reports from multiple systems.
• Collaborate across all departments to understand and propose and develop solutions for critical business objectives related to data and analytical systems and identify opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with IT to ensure compliance with security and integrity initiatives
• Create and maintain documentation, screencasts, etc. to achieve transparency across departments and organization for data and analytical systems using graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
• Create reports and establish KPIs for internal teams and/or external clients

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of work experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science or a related field
• System Administrator and System/Data Engineering experience
• Experience with SQL Server of any kind (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle...)
• Experience with ERP platforms (Epicor, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite...)
• Experience acquiring and moving data among systems with a high degree of integrity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Epicor Prophet 21
• Experience with alternative database systems a plus (NoSQL, GraphDB...)
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) systems
• Network Administration experience
• Experience with Big Data systems (Hadoop...)
• Experience with CRM, PIM, eCommerce
