The IT Field Technician - Center Implementation Specialist has a primary goal of enabling the delivery of a high-quality service to end users, and ensuring Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs of a new center buildout. Secondary responsibility is supporting existing centers with onsite assistance from escalated Service Desk tickets.  This person should be a team player with the ability to bring new ideas to the team and to openly and regularly share knowledge with the team. There is regular interaction with staff outside of the IT area, which requires this individual to have the ability to interact effectively with physicians, clinical staff, management, and 3 rd party teams and vendors. Work processes are directed by the Sr.

Systems Engineer. In addition, this position will monitor and manage the Service Desk ticketing system in place and report daily the status of open tickets and recurring issues. RESULTS MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way: Consistently provides the  highest quality patient care  and an exceptional experience delivered by knowledgeable, respectful and engaged team members. Product ownership - owns, manages, independent decision making around product/software. Subject Matter Expert of new center development independently researching, problem solving, and vendor management. Collaborates with Vendors, 3 rd party teams and Solis team leadership to trouble shoot and determine solutions. Coordinates the implementation and install of new centers or center projects. Implements and installs radiology platforms. Manages the new center service desk ticket tracking system, including running reports, making system configuration changes, and alerting management to trends. Performs field work, including repairs of desktop hardware (including peripheral devices) and software. Supporting new center build outs. Works closely with project managers for the development of new center and existing center projects. Responsible for any tasks regarding center focused projects. Network uplift, new center, and hardware refreshes. Provides after-hours and on-call coverage for center focused projects as required by the Center Implementation Manager. Provides applications support to users. Education / Experience Minimum of 2 years experience providing customer support in a technical environment. Minimum of 2 years of IT field experience. Applicable professional certifications highly desirable. Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline is highly desirable. Job Knowledge / Skills Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and understanding of desktop systems, software, and peripherals. Proven ability with 3 rd party teams and vendor management in order to support on time project delivery for centers. Demonstrable ability to effectively troubleshoot complex problems with minimal information. Demonstrable skills in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to train users to use these applications effectively. Demonstrable skills with an MDM platform and mobile devices. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively apply change management and project management skills. A team player, with the ability to bring new ideas to the team and to share knowledge with the team Effective customer service skills Experience with ticket management software is highly desirable. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required. Experience with VMware is highly desirable. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory is highly desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting is highly desirable. Licensure/Certifications Current drivers license valid in the state of Texas, other state, or other evidence of equivalent mobility is required. Working/Environmental Conditions Work environment consists of normal office or administrative working conditions. Detailed Deliverables (may fluctuate over time). Travel This position will require up to 50% travel almost exclusively around the North Texas Area.
