Job Description This role will report directly to the CISO. This leadership role will be responsible for leading the operations of the InfoSec team. The InfoSec Operation function will design, optimize and manage processes for: Strategic Planning, Portfolio and Annual Operating Plan, Budget and Funding, Procurement and Contracts, Resourcing, Communications and Change Management strategy and Project and Program delivery. This role is also responsible for driving and reporting operational excellence, defining efficient and effective processes across functional towers including standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment across the departments, programs and projects and serving as an escalation point for InfoSec functional leaders.
This role will translate strategic goals into structured and effective action plans reportable across the teams that comprise GRC, Security Engineering and Operations, holding teams accountable and moving change forward to drive business priorities from conception to completion. This role will triage problems and bring pertinent issues to leadership’s attention in an organized, succinct manner. Primary responsibilities include: Portfolio and Annual Plan Management: Manage development of the department’s annual Playbook objectives. Serve as primary point of contact into the department for the oCIO Determine strategies for InfoSec, project roadmaps and departmental portfolio roadmaps Translate strategic goals into structured and effective action plans across the functional towers Facilitate cross-functional alignment on project dependencies within InfoSec and IT Budget, Vendor and Procurement Management Review and approve for submission all Capital Review Board (CRB) presentations Organize and manage all quarterly Capital Review cycles and ensure prioritization and funding requests are reviewed for cross-functional alignment and CISO. Manage, Track and report on all Capital, Operating expenses and recurring Operating expenses. Funding Request management, reporting and tracking Vendor contract and SOW process management Procurement process tracking and reporting Project and Program Delivery: Manage project priority setting with the department leadership team to align with the AOP, IT Portfolio and across teams within the department. Chair and manage the Project Review Committee for project alignment, and resource and budget availability and priority setting for submission to the CISO. Conduct in-flight project status reviews with project managers and leadership Act as an escalation point for critical project risks, constraints and issues. Determine strategy for project Resource planning and management across functional areas and project portfolio Coordinate Project Managers and optimize project management processes Oversee large program management such as mergers and acquisition integrations Communications Strategy and Management Drive development of presentations for various executive levels Department Connect Site Content Management Department Communication Plan (calendar of events, content coordination)
