2023/2024 School Psychologist Intern near Piedmont, CA

Position Type: Internship/Practicum

Caseload: Pre-K-5th grade

Pay range: $37-$44/hr

As a School Psychologist Intern, you will work closely with our experienced school psychologists to provide comprehensive support services to students.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Providing counseling and guidance to students individually or in small groups.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and determine appropriate interventions.
• Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of positive behavior support plans.
• Conducting research and staying updated on best practices in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

• Must have Master's degree in School Psychology OR be currently pursuing a Master's degree in School Psychology and have the PPS school psychology endorsement.
• Eligible for a Pupil Personnel Services Intern Credential in School Psychology.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
