Job Description

Soleo Health is seeking a Regional Manager of Patient Access to support our Patient Access/ Intake department to work Remotely (USA). Join us in simplifying complex care!

Acute Home Infusion experience is required.

The Position:

The Regional Manager of Patient Access is responsible for overseeing activities such as benefit verification, prior authorization, reauthorization, reverification and payor appeals completed by the patient access team within a regional footprint. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for leading patient access towards the successful achievement of department goals and meeting or exceeding metrics/service level requirements.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Collaborates with all segments of leadership responsible for process design and development, process monitoring, and policy and procedure development.
  • Serves as a point of escalation for calls requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve customer issues. Promptly responds to service failures, resolves issues, and escalates to leadership as necessary.
  • Inform staff of relevant changes and developments in payer requirements or processes. Facilitates implementation and monitoring of changes. Also functions and serves as the liaison between the Patient Access Team and all other departments
  • Analyze referral trends, new therapies, specialty medication shortages, and access solutions
  • Completes all required duties, projects, and reports in a timely fashion on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis per the direction of the leadership

  • At least 5 years of healthcare intake/admissions and/or reimbursement experience
  • At least 5 years of experience applying knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines
  • Previous healthcare management is required
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment Ability to work independently with limited/minimal supervision
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience collaborating with internal resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines
  • CPR+ use/experience preferred
