The Support Coordinator/Project Management is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and completion of all project-related work. Coordinator with the  Project Management will complete all daily activities & duties related to moving projects forward and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. This position will report directly to the Regional Manager, People of Operations. 

As a Solar Support Coordinator/ Project Manager, you play one of the most important roles at LA Solar Group communicating with and orchestrating between our customers and partners. You will have direct exposure to the leadership team and will be instrumental in our future growth. This rewarding and career developing role requires your project management, communication, and organizational skills. In this highly selective role, you will jump in right away with formal training and project management. As you gain comfort in the role you will also gain more and more responsibility. • Coming from a support Coordinator/project manager role, with customer-facing experience in solar is a plus.

Responsibilities and Objectives - Project Management (50%)

• Project manage our Solar Installs from start to finish

• Orchestrate and schedule Site Surveys and Installation Days with the appropriate personnel

• Maintain data integrity and keep proper logs in our DMS

• Stay current on industry trends and knowledge to be a trusted resource to prospects


Responsibility and Objectives - Communication (30%)

• Communicate with our customers and field their questions with exemplary service, this is a critical part of the job

• Communicate with internal stakeholders like our leadership team, sales team, and other employees (installers, site surveyors)

  • Complete and close out all project-related tasks for the Department Work daily on the backlog to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Ad to Standard Operating Procedures for the Department Constantly communicate areas of improvement to upper management.
  • Monitor project progress and problem solve projects that may run into setbacks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualification Requirement Minimum of 2 year of experience in the solar industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Confidence, drive, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent complex multi-functional project and people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues in a confidential manner.
  • Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player and must be prepared to travel as necessary to maintain relationships with license holders and license issuance agencies.

• You will be involved with Special projects with our leadership team across Operations and Sales
