Tax Manager - 1387833

Our client is a full-service CPA firm located in south Kansas City. We are looking for a full-

time licensed CPA to join our firm in the role of Tax Manager. This person will interact extensively with

our clientele for tax consulting, planning and compliance, and be responsible for the successful review

and completion of all types of tax returns and supervision of the tax staff. We are looking for an

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Assist clients with individual and business income tax planning, preparation and compliance

Supervise staff for successful completion of various income tax related projects and professional

growth

Review completed income tax related projects

Client delivery of income tax related projects

Client relationship development

Requirements:

Bachelors degree or equivalent in accounting

CPA certification and permit to practice in Missouri - REQUIRED

7 plus years of CPA Firm income tax experience, planning, preparing and consulting on income

tax issues with 2+ years reviewing returns and managing client relationships - REQUIRED

Ability to work full-time, in-person and at client locations

Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

Strong understanding and knowledge of income tax

Superb analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Strong desire to build relationships with clientele and staff
