Job Description

Purpose and Scope of Position:

SnugZ USA is looking responsible dedicated Web developer. Duties will include building, coding and applying design to the company website, from layout to function and per current business specifications. The Web Developer will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. The Web Developer will manage and direct our local efforts and our off-site programmers to build a more user-friendly website that provides greater functionality for our end users. The candidate is expected to be self-motivated and energetic with the ability to work well with others. This is a full time in office position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of content management systems and ability to use in house ERP as website's CMS
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Professional web development skill sets (PHP, .Net, Python, C, Ruby)
  • Professional web design skill sets (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is needed to be successful in this position.
  • Excellent understanding of SQL Databases
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications
  • Maintain clean documentation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people
  • Experience in leading and guiding a team to complete projects on time and in spec.

Required Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
