Job Description



We’re looking for a self-motivated and collaborative individual will be responsible for leading the billing operations for Strategic Accounts. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes related to Government, Long-Term Care, Acute Care and InstaStaff Billing.

●       Establish and direct effective processes, procedures, and practices by collaborating with Billing team and other key team members in the organization

●       Drive productivity, accountability and streamline billing operations for strategic accounts

●       Responsible for team member functions including hiring, performance management, development, mentoring, training and terminating

· Engage with customers and agents to identify challenging account opportunities

●       Develop and train billing team members on strategic accounts

●       Develop, implement, and track metrics to measure productivity, accuracy, and achievement of goals/objectives.

●       Collaborate with Booker Services, IT, Collections, and other internal partners, to resolve roadblocks across various internal organizations

●       Oversee and direct the overall activities of billing and invoicing for strategic accounts

●       Maintain operational and specific billing rules with the ability to translate and correlate this data to billing practices and requirements

●       Support Collections team by identifying potential billing issues

●       Identify problems and offer feedback for solutions




● Troubleshooting complex billing challenges, identifying, and prioritizing gaps in processes

● Communicate professionally and appropriately with customers, co-workers, and agents while building collaborative relationships

● Prioritize issues due to urgency and organize resources for completion

● Multitask and facilitate daily workflow for yourself and the team

● Demonstrated evidence of measurable customer satisfaction

● Motivated with outstanding customer service skills

● Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to prioritize assignments

● Manage multiple priorities in a fast pace, deadline driven working environment



Supervisory responsibilities

Lead a team of 5 to 10 Billing Associates / Leads


Work environment

Fast paced, task oriented, and collaborative work environment


Position type and expected hours of work

Monday-Friday. Some nights and weekends maybe needed.


Physical demands


● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

● Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.


Travel required



Required education and experience

● Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business

● Billing experience required

● 5-10 years leadership/management experience

● Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar billing systems, as well as Salesforce (or related CRM)

● Strong written and verbal communications; adept at managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving production goals/KPIs, interfacing with key customers

● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; MS Access a plus

● Understanding of enterprise solutions, experience driving process improvements and automation through technology solutions highly desirable


Work authorization/security clearance requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
