Retail Store Manager

NOW HIRING! Retail Store Manager for our growing retail lacrosse store. As a Store Manager, you’ll work closely with leadership to ensure an excellent customer service experience for everyone that walks through our doors. Our customers come to us for expert advice and guidance. Our success comes from the trusting relationships we build with those customers, coaches, teams, & organizations - sharing our knowledge and passion for the sport. Our bottom line is supporting lacrosse players and families and helping the sport to grow and flourish in the greater Bay Area.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Drive profitable operation of store, supervising a team of part-time staff members
• Research and train to enhance your product knowledge and communication
• Train Sales Associates to provide the same level of excellent customer service
• Staff hiring, scheduling, and management
• Oversee store’s opening and closing procedures to ensure the security and safety of the business and staff
• Manage store’s inventory through successful operation of POS system and strong communication with our Inventory Manager
• Communicating with and reporting to company leadership including: inventory, sales, operations, and human resource managers as needed.
• Assist leadership in successful day to day as well as long term goals and growth initiatives

What you’ll need:

• A passion for sports and customer service
• General understanding of lacrosse. Willing to train the correct candidate.
• Excellent in-person and digital communication skills
• Eagerness to learn. We’re growing, so we need people who can grow with us
• Ability to work afternoons/evenings and weekends regularly
• This position requires 40 hours per week in the store
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• 2 years minimum retail store experience
