Slicedbread is looking for a highly motivated external sales representative who loves digital marketing and wants to expand their knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem and gain insight into the inner workings of some of the most thriving businesses in the country.
This position focuses on generating leads through list management, email marketing, and outbound calls to move prospects through our comprehensive sales process and into the capable hands of our strategy, marketing and development team. You’ll be working closely with exciting up and coming start-ups and well established businesses alongside thought leaders in digital marketing as we develop new ways to get people to convert and engage.
Role & Key Responsibilities
Speak to business owners and/or marketing executives each day to understand their unique challenges and goals, then propose a finely tailored version of the solutions Slicedbread can offer and the growth they will see.
Use our internal CRM (Hubspot) to leverage/nurture our existing contacts through sales and marketing automation into qualified sales opportunities.
Become an expert in our service offerings and proficiently explain each of them to the client and how they will uniquely impact their business.
Working closely with our management team to understand Slicedbread’s ideal client profile and sales process. Together we will build an outline of the best clients and determine which brands are the most likely to take off so we can target them.
Evaluate and assess each lead as they come in, in order to determine if they are a good fit for our team. We only want to work with the best and clients we can provide value to.
Prospect, develop, and close leads using a variety of in-house tools and email marketing strategies.
You will own the entire sales process from prospecting to completion of the sale.
Ability to utilize technology to engage clients in new and exciting ways.
Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly and monthly sales goals surrounding qualified opportunities, appointments, and closed leads.
Detailed reporting on weekly activity and meticulous organization of sales materials.
Entry-level, with 1-2 years of business development/sales experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite and Hubspot, also digital marketing experience a plus (SEO, PPC, Display, Social Media)
Comfortable with high volume communication via phone and email.
Ability to ask insightful questions, absorb valuable information from potential clients, and take diligent notes.
Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow within the company as well as the Ability to quickly pick up new skills.
Ability to uncover new sales opportunities and a relentless persistence in pursuing the opportunities.
Team-player attitude, but with a self-starting entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to work independently.
Comfort with learning new processes, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing personal work time effectively
An understanding and passion for the digital world we live in including social media and digital advertising.
Sales experience and a competitive mindset to be the best at what you do
The ability and desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
The technical aptitude to master our sales tools, and a working knowledge of sales funnels, landing pages, lead generation campaigns

Base Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 - BOE
Strong Earning Potential with Residual Build
Year one earning potential:
Average Consultants will earn $45,000-$55,000
Above average Consultant will earn $55,000-$65,000
Top Producers will exceed $80,000+
Year two earning potential:
Most will earn $75,000-$125,000
