Technician Assistant

Slade Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a Tech Assistant / Veterinary Assistant to their amazing team!

Slade Veterinary Hospital is an extraordinary AAHA General Practice. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join their team! They offer an amazing support staff and five doctor strong collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

· Loading rooms, obtaining patient history

· Executing treatment orders

· Keeping cages clean and sanitized

· Walking, feeding, and picking up after animals

· Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)

· Communicating with client via phone and in-person

· Assist with radiographs, cbc, chem, LYTES, etc.

· Outpatient procedures

· Filling prescribed medication

· Restraining animals

· Basic understanding of commonly prescribed medications in hospital

Requirements:

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Team-oriented

· Ability to multi-task

Salary range: &15-$16/hr, negotiable based on experience.
