SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Purpose and function of job. 

The Team Member Culture Specialist is responsible for assisting the Team Member Culture Manager in creating and driving an integrated culture and engagement strategy with the ability to engage, align and inspire employees with the company's vision and business strategy.

  • Supports and actively participates in efforts to define, build, and grow the company culture.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to continuously improve engagement among team members, contributing to a high performing organization linked to Company values.
  • Assists in the development of resources to establish best practices in communicating with employees to elevate productivity, performance, and pride.
  • Assists with the implementation and drives participation in engagement/pulse surveys.
  • Assists in the development of tactics to boost employee retention and productivity across all company levels.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce for the organization.
  • Supports and communicates DEI best practices to help foster a company climate that respects and values diversity, inclusion and belonging among team members.
  • Communicates and promotes opportunities for employees on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how it assists in meeting company goals and objectives.
  • Assists in the coordination of employee events that offer opportunities to enhance personal development, contributing to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Assists in building a diversity network(s) with organizations and groups that support initiatives, efforts.
  • Compiles/composes content for publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, special projects, and assignments.
  • Assists in the development and ongoing management of people recognition initiatives that are valued across the organization at all levels and ongoing ownership.
  • Supports the HR function to develop engaging communications that reflect our employer brand and attract top talent to the organization.
  • Ensures through programs and platforms that our internal Intranet reflects employer brand, culture.
  • Assists in the coordination and management of employee events
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.

 

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR, Organizational Behavior, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; HRIS, ATS and Benefit portals. 
  • Demonstrated outstanding organizational, planning, project management and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of company internal controls and Policies and Procedures.
