Job Description

(IDR) is seeking a project manager/administrator to support the Indiana Supported Decision-Making (SDM) Coalition from the date of hire through September 30, 2023. 

The Indiana SDM Coalition’s purpose is to execute the SDM Indiana State Plan by organizing stakeholders to work on the action items associated with the Plan’s three goals:

1. Goal 1: Empower populations impacted by guardianship, and support self-determination and self-direction and self-direction with accessible, comprehensive, and factual information to make informed decisions. 
2. Goal 2: Build statewide capacity for increased use of less restrictive alternatives to guardianship, improving the collective ability of systems to facilitate the practice of LRAs.
3. Goal 3: Implement innovative policies and best practices to support, prioritize and sustain the use of LRAs.

The Coalition is structured into a Steering Committee, Stakeholder Group, and three sub-committees (Materials and Outreach; Research; and Policy, Systems, and Admin).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop project plan, scope, and budget in coordination and with approval from Indiana SDM Coalition - - Steering Committee
- Maintain updated project plan throughout duration of project, including managing and updating change requests
- Provide at least monthly status updates
- Prepare quarterly reports of project status
- Support Coalition Committees in executing project tasks

- Act as the General Gatekeeper for the Coalition
- Plan and coordinate Steering Committee and Stakeholder Meetings
- Ensure supportive stakeholder experience (i.e. manage new stakeholder onboarding, draft stakeholder communications, etc.)
- Provide technical assistance to referral sources as identified by the Coalition
- Track Coalition activities
- Find, apply for, and manage grants
- Conduct outreach activities and/or individual client consultations, as assigned

Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, operations, management, or other related area or comparable work experience.
- At least 2 years of project management, event management, grant management, or meeting planning experience.
