SVC Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator

We are seeking a professional, organized, and outgoing individual to fulfill a dual role to achieve recruitment and marketing objectives. Sims Venture Capital (SVC) operates as a holding company to service multiple companies, as well as an investment group to bring entrepreneurial ideas to fruition.

The Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator will work with each of our companies – which include Price & Ramey Insurance Group, BarkBound Daycare & Boarding, Oakwell Animal Hospital, Code & Color, and Mountain Empire Agency Alliance – to fulfill a variety of marketing campaigns, assist in strategy, and maintain proper tracking. In the Recruitment space, he/she will develop and maintain relationships with staff recruitment sources and oversee our Training & Learning Center.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner, resourceful, self-motivated, comfortable spearheading projects, and able to integrate with a variety of diverse companies and staff cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Marketing Campaigns

  • Work with each of SVC’s companies to strategize, plan, and execute marketing campaigns for all companies alongside the Marketing Director

  • Manage Google Adwords and Facebook Ad accounts

  • Track identified KPIs and prepare a monthly report for each company

  • Write blog posts monthly for 3 companies

  • Develop advertising for radio, newspaper, billboards, etc.

  • Manage sponsorships of local groups

  • Organize podcast recordings and elements of production

  • Organize mail merges for marketing campaigns

  • Assist in event preparation

  • Assist Marketing Director as needed

Requirements:

• Strong organization and communication skills

• 2+ years experience in employee recruitment, communication, or marketing role

• 2+ years experience in Google Adwords and Googe Analytics 

• Ability to commute to the Kingsport office as needed, hybrid work is negotiable

• Ability to pass a background check

• Willingness to travel as needed on occasion
