We’re looking for an Automotive Account Executive to join our Business Development team at our Oldsmar or Lake Mary office! This position's primary focus will be to identify partnership development opportunities within the automotive industry, engage decision makers, sign new business, and continue to retain the business relationship. The ideal candidate understands industry trends, has the business savvy, technical insight, sales experience, relationship development skills and is excited about change, and enjoys working on complex, long-term strategic and innovative opportunities directly with key decision makers, technology providers, industry partners, business associations, and influential industry consultants.

The candidate possesses experience building and maintaining relationship in large and small organizations with continuous growth opportunity. This position is responsible for generating, managing, and executing high impact customer and partner activities while having a strong technical aptitude to identify best-in-class solutions potential partners.

Defined responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

  • Main point of contact for all automotive service providers
  • Creating and managing relationships at the C-Suite level
  • Comfortable engaging in business development and remote collaboration in an office setting
  • Maintains a high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise
  • Develop the account plans and growth strategies for the strategic accounts and partner channels within your market.
  • Identify and facilitate the coordination of large project opportunities across the project stakeholders and with the internal solution teams at SimplyIOA.
  • Define clear Objectives and Key Results for each specific Strategic Account and the projects to facilitate the up and cross selling of SimplyIOA solutions and services
  • Identify, develop, & close high-revenue value deals and convert leads into active customers
  • End-to-end responsibility for the entire sales cycle, prospecting, and development of the pipeline for the region
  • Influence and position the company and solutions across the various project stakeholders and throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend and be a technology thought leader at local association industry events and trade shows.
  • Use market intelligence, analytical skills, evangelism, product knowledge, and outstanding communication and presentation skills to sell and close business
  • Work with internal teams to develop project proposals, RFI and RFP documentation and validate related scope of works.
  • Leverage the Channel Partner ecosystem to further develop the territory and uncover incremental revenue opportunities for the Company
  • Travel across Region <50%

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and experience growing net new pipeline
  • Experience selling complex digital solutions and/or technologies
  • Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Experience supporting strategies across a variety of different channels, e.g., digital, email, media
  • Presentation skills, business knowledge, and relationship skills - must be credible to C-level executives in person and online
  • Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
  • PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office Suite

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance industry
  • Experience working at small start-ups is a plus
