Customer Service - Lead Intake

Local real estate investors looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, to join our team. Personal accountability, teamwork, and high attention to detail are critical for this role.  

The purpose of this role is to manage all incoming leads to ensure each client is given the best chance to be helped and the company is maximizing the potential of all of our leads. This position is one of the first points of contact with our team. The bulk of time will be spent answering phone calls from our leads, entering them in our CRM, and scheduling appointments with our sales team. The ability to build rapport and empathize / sympathize with leads is crucial. This person must be professional, polite, energetic, and explain to potential sellers that we can provide a solution for their needs, whatever that may be. We need an individual who excels in communication with strong customer service skills. 

Additionally, company development is a key role with this position. This person will be assisting in the creation, implementation, and management of systems to complete tasks quickly and with a high degree of quality. This person loves learning, is interested in growing his/her skills, and enjoys bringing organization to ideas so that they can be implemented. 

Compensation:

$30,000 - $32,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Answering client calls throughout the day
  • Rapidly responds to online lead sources (CRM, email, Facebook Messages, etc.)
  • Follow up with existing leads
  • Schedule appointments for Sales Team on team calendar
  • Documenting all interactions within the company CRM
  • Collaborate with the Admin and Sales Team
  • Create a warm hand-off for the Sales Team to connect with viable leads
  • Conduct quality assurance follow-up calls/surveys with leads
  • Preparing marketing lists for use
  • Occasional cold calling
  • Assist the office manager with administrative tasks as needed
  • Other “infinity” tasks as assigned
  • We are a small, well-funded startup. At times, you may be asked to fulfill the duties of other roles that are still being developed

Skills and Abilities:

  • Quickly build rapport over the phone with a friendly and disarming conversational voice
  • Display confidence in our company and process while being able to project that confidence over the phone
  • Control and direct the conversation to gather necessary information
  • Demonstrate the skill to learn as much as possible about the situation to put us in the best position to help the seller and acquire the property
  • Don’t give up; pursue every lead until it is won or exhausted
  • One must have a burning desire to succeed. This desire typically allows for those who will own their position and not need prompting to fulfill his/her job description or find other ways to contribute. Take initiative; implement ideas that will help this role to be more efficient

Technical Skills:

  • Must be able to learn CRM quickly
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 is a plus but not required
  • Must have the general ability to understand technology and utilize it effectively and quickly
  • Must be able to multi-task (talk on the phone while managing the CRM)
  • Must be organized and task-oriented with a STRONG attention to detail
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must understand the concepts of ownership and drive as they relate to accountability and productivity
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional growth. This desire typically allows for those who will own their position and not need prompting to find things to do. Must not be afraid to take initiative and implement ideas that will help this role be more efficient
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish-written and verbal) is a bonus but not a condition for employment

Additional Benefit Information:

  • Flexible, paid vacation: one week the first year; two weeks per year thereafter
  • One additional paid vacation day for your birthday
  • Each quarter, an additional eight hours that can be used at once or in segments to redeem for personal time
  • As the company grows, a bonus structure will be put in place
