Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: North Haven CT, 06473

1st Shift:

Monday – Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Saturday / Sunday: 7:00am – 3:00pm (Over time)

Pay Rate: $15.25/Hr.

JOB DECSRIPTION:

Ø  Must maintain productivity and accuracy standards.

Ø  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ø  May lift up to 20 lbs max. Able to work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse (meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates through each season)

Ø  Must be flexible with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Ø  Warehouse associates are responsible for various job duties within the warehouse/distribution center

Ø  These duties include, but are not limited to; assembly of product, order picking, packing, RF scanning of product

Ø  Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within the warehouse environment and provide high quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, damage free, cost effective and accurate storage and handling

Ø  Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, and assembly of product Use of handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance

Ø  Assists in cycle counts, auditing and physical inventories

Ø  Follows company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner

Ø  Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others

Ø  Works cooperatively with other warehouse associates

Ø  Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion Additional duties assigned by supervisor

UNIFORM:

Solid colored t-shirt preferred Long Pants/jeans or Shorts (no more than 3 inches above the knee), and must be either jean or khaki material.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR:

Ø  Absolutely no BAGS, HEADPHONES, CELL PHONES, HOODIES on the floor. Clear water bottles are ok. No soft material so no leggings, sweatpants, pajama bottoms, athletic shorts or similar. No Clothes that reveal your undergarments.

Ø  No Torn or sheer clothing.

Ø  No Open-toe or open-heel shoes,

Ø  No Flip flops or beach style sandals.

Ø  Any visible tattoos, body art or clothing that displays, depicts or conveys nudity, obscenity, violence, or sexually suggestive design will need to be covered
