Sr. Analyst – Revenue Management

Silver Airways is seeking an ambitious candidate to drive decisions that result in maximizing profitability, margins, and revenue performance. The candidate will be tasked with developing innovative ways of generating ticket and ancillary sales for Silver. The Sr. Analyst will engage in all aspects of revenue management for Silver Airways (i.e., inventory allocation, pricing, ancillary, and distribution strategy) by maintaining a competitive posture as it pertains to fares, fees, rules, pricing policies, procedures, and programs. This position will work with marketing, business intelligence, and network planning on strategic campaigns and projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitor and establish inventory levels based on passenger loads, aircraft capacity, group bookings, and demand to maximize revenue
  • Utilize forecasting tools and business rules-based decision support tools to execute flight strategies
  • Identify and analyze market issues, concerns, and trends to determine pricing and inventory actions
  • Provide analytical expertise on a variety of topics including sales trends and seasonal anomalies, distribution mix, competitive pricing, and booking curve optimization
  • Identify best practices and process improvement strategies in automation of reporting/forecast modeling
  • Consistently analyze the competitive landscape regarding fares and schedule changes to ensure Silver is positioned properly
  • Responsible for ongoing strategy, tactics, and execution of Silver’s market level pricing for the domestic and international network
  • Develop, support, and enhance the functionality of automated pricing and distribution systems
  • Meet and maintain revenue benchmarks to track results against desired performance
  • Provide post-audit assessments on pricing and promotional activity seen in the marketplace
  • Process large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research projects
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, scheduling, and customer service leads to ensure alignment on market level strategies designed to maximize revenue

Knowledge and Abilities Required

  • Experience in revenue management techniques and revenue optimization
  • Background in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of demand elasticity and advanced pricing strategies
  • Aptitude for business data research; strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently on a dynamic team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or similar field of study
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related industry or capacity
  • Airline Industry experience preferred; familiarity to Sabre suite a plus
  • ATPCO experience in filing fares, fees, and rules a plus
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, FBI fingerprint screening, 10-year criminal background check education and experience
