SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

Primary Function:
This individual will be growing their professional career in embedded software verification and validation. We are looking to expand our software test team both in numbers and in the scope of test methods.

Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Primary Function:
This individual will be growing their professional career in embedded software verification and validation. We are looking to expand our software test team both in numbers and in the scope of test methods.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Test embedded software for industrial equipment, in both lab and test track settings
- Bench testing on target hardware (Truck-On-A-Bench)
- Shop testing on stationary equipment
- Testing by driving on our test tracks
- Define and develop automated testing
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities)
- Experience testing embedded software
- Familiar with software defect reporting systems and processes
- Familiar with industrial or automotive communication protocols such as CANOpen, J1939
- Familiar with material handling equipment e.g. Fork Trucks
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiar with Python, Windows shell commands
Preferred Experience
- Experience testing embedded software
- Familiar with software defect reporting systems and processes
- Familiar with industrial or automotive communication protocols such as CANOpen, J1939
- Familiar with material handling equipment e.g. Fork Trucks
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiar with Python, Windows shell commands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
