This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Director of Market Development , you will be responsible for:
The Director of Neuro/IR Market Development will be
responsible for developing a zone-specific Neuro/IR growth strategy such that
we sustainably grow our Neuro/IR market
share for fixed c-arms.
The role will support in KOL engagements, improve
our approach to reference sites, support in gaining internal mindshare through engagements
with the sales organization, education and direct customer engagement.
This role will serve to help grow our sales success
in close cooperation with the Advanced Therapies (AT) Area Vice President, our
Zone Sales Management team and our KOL Neuro/IR Lead, to increase our
visibility and relevance in Neuro/IR . The role will also work closely with the
marketing team to gain a deep understanding of our strategic direction for Neuro/IR
to implement within the zone.
This role will drive select strategic engagements
and sales opportunities, while also driving the broader Siemens U.S. Neuro/IR strategy. This position will also engage with current
and future key opinion leaders and industry partners to increase our success
both in the zone and nationally, as a strong solution partner.
- SU MarketDevelopment:
in the zone through an understanding of the business conduct in the zone,
market segmentation, customer segmentation, and tie to the resource and
financial investment plan to grow the market
- Customer RelationshipManagement:
zone and regional management and sales teams to identify key customers where
Siemens success is critical, and act as primary owner of our engagement and
sales strategy. Maintain and build close
relationships with important accounts and key opinion leaders, and help to
develop strong regional reference sites.
Identify critical customer decisions, trends, and assess business
implications for Siemens Neuro/IR Business Line. Target top Neuro/IR projects and tactical
strategies to win and grow share. Work with Director of Professional
Development to develop regional Centers of Excellence and develop peer to peer
- Siemens and IndustryPartner Engagement:
regional contact for our industry partners and grow regional/zone based
relationships to maximize impact of these partnerships for our customers and
our success. Develop with our partners
peer to peer training events to highlight an imaging for outcomes procedure
based approach. Explore opportunities to
pilot initiatives within key IDNs and/or Neuro/IR customers that will enhance
Siemens value proposition and solutions portfolio. Attend key trade shows and industry
events. Structure and implement zone
based clinical and procedural ongoing quarterly training events for AE's, RVPs,
PSEs. AVPs, consisting of web-based Neuro/IR conferences, one on one field
rides, and regional meetings.
- Business Management:
position and customer perception of Siemens Neuro/IR solutions in US customer
segments (example - IDNs, academic hospitals, OBLs...). Assist Business Line Vice President in
finalization and execution of a Neuro/IR Strategic Plan. Help to drive increase in market share,
customer satisfaction, and market knowledge in Neuro/IR. Track and report
regional market and sales data to gauge success of our strategy.
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Strong communication, relationship management and leadership skills.
- Requires deep knowledge of U.S. Neuro/IR market, trends, clinicalsurgical procedures and technical needs.
- Sales experience in Neuro/IR, with strong relationship networks.
- Display high level of critical thinking in bringing successfulresolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross functional problems.
- Results oriented to ensure achievement of the targeted profit, customersatisfaction and market share goals.
- Ability to drive a strategic plan, having an impact to implementnecessary changes with internal and external partners involved.
- 10 years of Healthcare experience in the field of customer relationshipor business management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Required travel: 60%.
- Must live in the territory/zone.
- 15 years of Healthcare experience in thefield of customer relationship or business management - preferably Med Techexperience
- Existing relationships with Neuro/IR keyopinion leaders is desired.
- Prior sales and KOL development experienceis desired.
