A Snapshot of Your Day: you will be responsible for the overall running of the Accounting shared service centre

In your role as a Shared service centre manager, youwill be responsible for the overall running of the Accounting shared servicecentre in the region, which includes the following departments:

General ledger and closing

Esprit (Group reporting)

Fixed Assets

Bank and Cash

Accounts Receivable

Partner with the global process owner/competencecenter to provide accurate books and records and comply with globalprocesses/standards

You will act as a competent contact person for variousinquiries relating to the overall running of the shared service centre andadvise your team on accounting issues

You coordinate closely with other departments,countries, regions

Ensure the implementation and execution of newaccounting regulations and internal controls for the entire shared servicecentre

You act as a role model in projects for processoptimization, harmonization, automation, digitalization and standardization

You value effective communication and collaborationwith internal and external stakeholders

Support quarterly and yearly external audit process byproviding timely information and resolve queries from auditor qualitatively (ifapplicable for the assigned countries/legal entities)

Implement, follow-up and continuously improve KPIs acrossall departments in the shared service centre

Proactively identify service delivery issues and takeappropriate action, promote performance improvement initiatives and use of bestpractices.

Contributecontinuously to the improvement of the performance of the overall sharedservice centre

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field

Education as professional accountant

7 plus years of experience in operational accounting

7 plus years of experience in running an Accountingshared service centre

Finance leadership experience, with proven successin leading teams through change management processes

Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to drivetransformation

People oriented and committed to drive personalgrowth of the team

Strong written and verbal communication skills, withstrong passion for organization, process improvement and structure

Experience of working in truly multicultural workingenvironment

End-to-end understanding of business processes inERP landscape (e.g. SAP FI, CO)

IFRS and local GAAP accounting knowledge.

Your open and communicative nature as well as fluentEnglish skills complete your profile
