Shore Point Distributing Co is a family owned beverage distributor located in Freehold N.J. that carries an extensive line of national, regional and local beers, as well as wine, spirits and non-alcohol beverages. Shore Point Distributing Co is one of the largest beverage wholesalers in the state servicing Warren, Hunterdon, Burlington, Mercer, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties.

Shore Point is currently seeking a full time Sales & Marketing Office Administrator to join its Freehold, NJ location.

Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Office Administrator is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing team administratively to help them stay organized and effectively manage the day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assists in running and communicating sales reports.
  2. Actively work transversally across the Sales organization and with all relevant departments to assist in clerical and or organizational needs as they arise.
  3. Back-up for POS Routing and Special Events vehicles.
  4. Coordinating of Golf Outings and special events; Beer Festivals, etc.
  5. Coordinate Monthly and Quarterly goals for review for disbursement.
  6. Assist with the editing and preparation of the monthly price letter.
  7. Coordinating and communicating with the Operations Team on in-bound and out-bound transfers.
  8. Monthly chain account pricing updates
  9. Data entry for monthly brand forecasts and purchase orders
  10. Disbursement of tickets to retailers; sporting and entertainment.
  11. Preparation of advance materials for all meetings.
  12. Assist with coordinating and management of Sales Department calendar.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service/sales support environment which includes administration and communication of customer requests.
  • Able to multi-task and handle administrative tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and balance workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet predetermined deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
