Job DescriptionShodeen Homes, one of Chicago's leading home building and development companies, is currently seeking a highly qualified professional for the position of New Homes Community Sales Manager's AssistantAs a New Home Community Sales Manager's Assistant, you have an exciting opportunity to help your prospect's dream of owning a Shodeen Home. This position will play a key role as part of the overall Shodeen Homes sales team and will have direct responsibilities for assisting the Community Manager in driving the success of the community in the following ways: leading the Welcome/Discovery process with all prospects on behalf of the Community Manager when the Community Manager is off; sharing critical feedback to the Community Manager on needs/wants for the community and prospect feedback; organizing your time and resources to best serve your Community Manager's sales success and the revenue goals of Shodeen Homes.We trust that as a New Homes Community Sales Manager you... will: Manage and maintain your sales model and community as if it were your personal retail business Open a minimum of 15 minutes early and complete full sales model opening process Conduct weekly customer care calls and attend community team meetings to review the status of the community pipeline, closings, new starts, customer issues/concerns and community and model maintenance items.
Assist the Community Manager in maintaining clean and complete inventory of all sales collateral (price sheets, community information, etc.) Work toward commitment from each prospect by leading the prospect through the most favorable sales process and passing off to the Community Manager to close Be a great team player for your sales partners, construction team, design studio coordinators, mortgage team, customer service members and sales leadership Perform active engagement and follow up with prospects through phone, email and/or CRM program Adhere to all company policies and produces Perform "best practices" in how Shodeen Homes conducts business Assist the Community Manager in executing lead generation for new prospects, as well as broker outreach, in order to meet and exceed sales goals Understand how to read blueprints and know all the options that are offered in your community Assist the Community Manager maintain a current inventory list and walk inventory homes on a consistent basis to make sure that they are clean, punched out and reflect the best of our standards Be knowledgeable about your community's HOA documents, school system, community highlights, etc. Be a problem solver and recommend solutions Professional appearance and demeanorCandidate requirements include: Previous new homes sale experience preferred (but not required) Strong interpersonal skills Customer and service focused Organized and detail oriented Competency with Microsoft Office Suite Hard working, persistent and dependable Positive and enthusiastic Willing to work weekends Ability to float between multiple communities to assist Community ManagersShodeen Homes is a 59 year old, family owned home builder that consistently ranks as one of the area's most active and growing builders.
