Major Account Manager (MAM), eMobility Sales & Solutions Location: US - Remote (Candidate needs to based in: AL, CA, TN, TX, MO, GA, FL, WA, OH, SD, WY.) Summary: Reporting to the VP eMobility Sales & Solutions. The Major Account Manager (MAM), eMobility Sales candidate will be responsible for driving Shoal's eMobility solutions by managing Shoals select eMobility accounts. The position will also be responsible for generating, cultivating, and closing sales leads within named accounts/module.
The applicant must be willing to wear multiple hats and be able to solve problems without looking to others for specific direction. This is a sales position that will be instrumental in driving new revenue, new customer/account growth and overall account/client satisfaction. Candidate needs to be comfortable in a startup environment and be a team player.
The position requires a technical solution sales mindset, heavy business development, prospecting, new account acquisition, growing executive relationships inside of accounts and a strong work ethic. Candidate should be comfortable with selling new technologies and understand EV charging infrastructure and the EV market. Core Competencies/Duties/Responsibilities: Team Player/Leader: Works daily with cross functional teams; sales engineering, product management, project management, marketing to collaborate and work jointly to exceed KPI's.
Lead by example; exceed sales activity and sales pipeline KPI's and targets. Direct Sales: Achieve company quarterly and annual sales goals by driving strong sales performance, revenue generation and pipeline development and growth. Engage/meet with perspective and existing customers to grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their business needs and challenges.
Prospect to generate leads, build and nurture client relationships to maintain a pipeline which is sufficient to exceeding annual sales goals for accounts. Drive and implement sales strategies which optimize customer acquisition and pipeline growth. Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan for the Western US region that expands Shoals eMobility customer base and key account plans to maximize coverage into major accounts. Create account mapping/account strategy mapping Partner Account Management: Create and manage direct and indirect sales account plans through top partner accounts and EPC's. Identify top EPC accounts/companies, work to develop and grow relationship within this specific vertical.
Build distribution partners to participate in closing and orders to facilitate and add value to the selling process. Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop, and evaluate their performance, and manage conflict ensuring alignment with contracts, agreements, and plans. Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to any partner relationships.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5 years in sales within a corporate setting achieving sales metrics Proven track record of success in the sales account management; from plan to close Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Salesforce/CRM Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Sales Prospecting Business Development Sales/Deal Management Ability to travel 50 - 75% of the time
